Patented Blue Plug safety fuse technologyīeat the heat with Lasko 42 wind curve ionizer T42950.Very, very quiet and I sleep very comfortably all nigth long. I am thrilled with all the features, as to the wide area it covers remote settings timer and more. Very little assembly - just have to attach base to fan with some 4-6 screws.

Only two days later, my Lasko fan arrived. S&H is only $2.95, which is fantastic and hard to beat. Stated that it would be delivered within 5-7 days. Plus, no state sales tax and I didn't have to go to the store. The price on Overstock was even better than what she paid. I did my research as to price as she purchased hers at a well-known discount store - everything from A-Z - Super Store, etc. This was my first introduction/experience with the looks, quality and performance.

My neighbor has Lasko tower fans in every room. not only in one's comfort, but keeping the electric bill lower. Have been living in a condo for some four years with no ceiling fans, which really make a big difference. I have been very satisfied with Overstock in the past and always search their website if I'm in need of something before shopping at regular stores (online or brick & mortar).īeing a native Floridian, I'm used to always having a ceiling fan in every room. I love that there is a little space in the back of the fan for the remote too so that it doesn't get lost when not in use. It will definitly do the job during those in between months when you don't want to turn the A/C on just yet. The first setting is very strong considering the size of the fan, I don't think we will have to use it above the #2 setting most of the time. Very quiet on all settings and a great size for our living room or bedroom. The fan was very easy to assemble, although I would like if the base was a little more substantial than just a plastic disk, it still seems sturdy as long as you're not too rough with it.

You can't beat the super low shipping (or free depending on when you order) for next day delivery. I bought this fan on a Wednesday morning around 10 am, I received my fan the very next day when I got home from work. It looks good, moves a lot of air, and has the extras one might want. I've even thought of opening it up to try to disable the beeping mechanism.Īll things considered, it's a quality fan that is hard to beat at its price. It's a pretty loud and annoying beep as well. I don't need a beep to tell me that it registered what I just did it's obvious enough. The one real complaint that I have is the beeping when you change speeds or turn it on or off. I don't know if the ionizing feature really does anything or not. The oscillation has a good pace and covers a maybe 45 degree angle. I use the timer almost every night, so I love that (options for 1/2 hour to 7 1/2 hours at 1/2 hour increments). The remote is fine, I use it on rare occasion, and does everything the main control panel does. It makes a bit of noise on the highest setting, but again, not an annoying sound, more like the sound of wind that makes other sounds seem quieter rather than being a noise itself. It's primarily the sound of air moving, not an annoying mechanical sound. Particularly on the lowest (of 3) settings it very quickly and easily fades into the background. It moves a lot of air, but doesn't blow particularly hard because of the size of the fan area. It wobbles a bit when you hit it, but would take quite a bit to knock it over.

It's fairly large, but due to its design, it doesn't take up much space. The faux wood isn't convincing at all, but balances the more modern lines and control panel to fit almost any decor. It has a sort of tech-elegant look to it. This is a good looking and effective fan.
